ROLE SUMMARY:

Knowledge Gate International School (KGIS) is seeking to appoint an Operations Assistant to start immediately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Operations Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the school's daily operations by managing documentation, coordinating procurement, and maintaining records, while also overseeing student transportation services. This dual role ensures the efficient handling of administrative tasks and smooth execution of school bus operations, safeguarding both compliance and student safety. The position requires excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and service delivery.

General responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain operational documentation and filing systems
• Process and track purchase orders and requisitions
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
• Support facility maintenance scheduling and tracking
• Maintain inventory records and assist with stock control
• Process invoices and track operational expenses
• Assist with the preparation of operational reports
• Assist with school transportation coordination and logistics
• Maintain updated bus routes and student transportation records
• Liaise with transportation providers, drivers, and bus assistants
• Support effective communication between parents and the transportation team
• Process transportation-related requests, changes, and inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree or associate diploma
• Relevant administrative work experience in the same field
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft & Excel skills
• Experience working with Google apps for Maps.
