We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global technology consultancy delivering high-impact digital transformation initiatives across government and enterprise sectors. Our client is seeking an experienced
Data Architect
for a
16-month on-site engagement in Muscat, Oman
. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Your work will directly support national-scale modernization efforts, shaping the future of data infrastructure and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of data solutions using OCI and ODI.
  • Design and optimize data integration workflows and ETL pipelines.
  • Translate business and data requirements into technical specifications.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives and ensure high performance and data integrity.
  • Mentor teams and promote best practices in data engineering and architecture.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, integration, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong expertise in
    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
    and
    Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
    .
  • Solid knowledge of OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehousing, Lakehouse, and dimensional modeling.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written);
    Arabic is preferred but not essential
    .
  • Experience in high-volume data environments with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Open to candidates already in Oman,
    willing to relocate
    , or
    able to travel frequently to Oman
    .
