Commercial Manager - Light Household and Textile | MAF Retail | Head Office Oman
ROLE SUMMARY
The Commercial Manager (LHH&TXT) is responsible for coordinating with buyers and supporting purchases for MAF Retail. The role also involves assisting with product selection and examination for store shelves, catalogues, and online platforms.
ROLE PROFILE
- Implement effective sourcing strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Research and review new products to meet company goals.
- Source high-quality products at competitive prices aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure profitable deals.
- Develop reports on key metrics to reduce expenses and enhance efficiency.
- Identify reputable vendors and suppliers to foster future partnerships.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations for sourcing.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to quality assurance of sourced items.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in retail.
- Mandatory experience handling Light Household products (home appliances, homeware).
- Proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
