Data Entry Clerk – Visa & Public Relations Department

Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: Prior experience in Schengen visa processing, dealing with embassies, and public relations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and update client and visa application data into internal systems.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for Schengen visa applications and other international travel visas.
  • Liaise with embassies and consulates to follow up on application progress and requirements.
  • Coordinate with government and semi-government bodies in Oman regarding visa and travel formalities.
  • Schedule appointments for clients with embassies and maintain clear, up-to-date tracking records.
  • Safely organize and archive documents both electronically and physically.
  • Generate regular status reports on visa applications and highlight any processing challenges.
  • Support the public relations team with official correspondence and external coordination as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant data entry and processing experience (especially Schengen visas).
  • Strong familiarity with embassy procedures and documentation standards.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High accuracy and attention to detail in handling sensitive data.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of Omani governmental procedures is an added advantage.
  • Professional, polite, and well-organized with good interpersonal skills.
