JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer mapping: Identify opportunities to sell a product/service best suited to the needs of clients. Understanding the customer from a business point of view, identifying the point of contact to crack the deal, maintaining client contact data.
  • Solution Designing: Need identification & understanding the problem statement and propose suitable solution to the client.
  • Ensure timely collection.
  • Client Communication: Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs, solving client problems throughout the process/project.
  • Closing the deal: Analyzing cost & sale, negotiating contract terms and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
  • MIS: Preparing timely reports.
  • Quotation follow-ups and timely updating in CRM.
  • Interdepartmental coordination & collaboration: Coordination with Sales Support, Project management team, Estimation, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics as well as Plants people for smooth execution of the project.
  • Importer Liaison: Understanding client's requirements as regards quality, labelling, packaging, packing and markings on the export products as well as delivery goods. Keep up with ever-changing Government Policies and Tariffs on Importation of Goods.
  • MAS documentation: Preparing and submission of MAS documents to various stakeholders as per project needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of Experience.
  • Experience in the Oman market is a prerequisite.
  • Project sales/Value-based selling, Direct, Institutional Sales, OEM preferred.
  • Experience in specifying products with consultants is preferred.
  • Selling to civil contracting companies, MOT, ROP, various ministries, municipalities is preferred.
  • Steel Manufacturing Industry experience.
