Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Business Development Representative with proven experience in promoting and selling Smart Home Automation and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen, along with strong communication and marketing skills. This role is instrumental in driving business growth, expanding market presence, and establishing long-term customer relationships within residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
As the exclusive distributor of a premium Smart Home brand, the candidate will also play a critical role in developing and executing a comprehensive nationwide brand distribution strategy, ensuring market coverage, brand positioning, and long-term scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Smart Home and ELV markets.
- Target residential, commercial, and industrial segments to drive product adoption and market penetration.
- Lead efforts to build market presence and increase revenue through strategic account acquisition.
Brand Distribution Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and execution plan for brand distribution across the country.
- Define distribution models, pricing structures, partnership programs, and go-to-market tactics aligned with brand positioning.
- Identify and onboard strategic B2B clients, resellers, and channel partners to strengthen the brand's footprint.
- Ensure consistent representation and alignment with the brand's global standards across all distribution channels.
Territory Expansion & Network Development
- Expand national presence by identifying, recruiting, and managing a network of regional distributors and resellers.
- Monitor partner performance and provide support to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Client Engagement & Product Promotion
- Conduct both indoor (office-based) and outdoor (on-site) sales activities.
- Deliver professional product presentations and live demonstrations to potential clients.
- Provide tailored solutions by understanding customer needs and technical requirements.
Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute marketing strategies using both digital (SEO, social media, email) and traditional marketing channels.
- Collaborate with internal marketing resources to support lead generation and brand promotion.
Lead Management & Conversion
- Generate leads through networking, events, referrals, and digital campaigns.
- Qualify prospects, follow up diligently, and convert inquiries into successful sales.
Sales Proposals & Quotation Management
- Prepare competitive and customized quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Ensure pricing strategies support profitability and market positioning.
Customer Relationship Management
- Foster long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up and support.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Build up and manage dealers network and their queries.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management to stay ahead in the market.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and client communications.
- Submit periodic reports and market feedback to management.
Trade Shows & Brand Representation
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote the Smart Home and ELV portfolio.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the Smart Home and ELV industries.
- Preferred strong knowledge of smart home automation protocols (e.g., KNX, Crestron, Lutron, Zigbee, Z-Wave, RF, etc.).
- Preferred experience with ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, AV integration, and structured cabling.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute distribution and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Technical understanding and ability to explain solutions to both technical and non-technical clients.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms.
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Valid Gulf driving license (mandatory).
- Previous work experience in Gulf countries preferred.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Established client network in the smart home and ELV markets.
- Familiarity with IoT and cloud-based automation platforms.
- Graphic design or content creation skills are a plus.
- Additional language fluency is a plus.
- Field-based sales with regular client visits and site meetings.
- Office-based responsibilities for strategy planning, reporting, and collaboration.
- Fast-paced, target-driven environment with cross-functional coordination.
