Assistant Analyst Compensation

To Support all the activities related to the Oman Telecommunication Company's salary administration program and other various duties assigned.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Adjust the salary for employees due to internal influences (promotion, merit, general increase, annual increment, lump-sum increase) and external influences.
  2. Assist in developing job descriptions for all staff positions within the company.
  3. Support in collecting all information required to fill the salary survey provided by the external consultants.
  4. Communicate and collect monthly and per the required all the main information of employees from the HRMS and line managers.
  5. Review the current compensation for the new incumbent salary data and compare it with the company's salary rate to specify the offer's salary.
  6. Set and recommend the proper salary and grade for new hires aligning with the current salary structure.
  7. Review and evaluate the current compensation range for all the positions in the company.
  8. Handle compensation inquiries as needed to ensure quality customer service to associates.
  9. Analyze employee data using statistical procedures such as Excel Pivot table analysis, regression, and path analysis.
  10. Prepare the monthly new hire and salary adjustment report.
Qualifications:
  1. Good knowledge of Human Resource principles and tools.
  2. Good knowledge of statistics.
  3. Good understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
  4. Excellent writing skills.
  5. Good understanding of the telecommunications industry.
Education / Certifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or related field with a preferred minor in HR studies.
Experience:
  1. A minimum of 3 - 4 years of relevant experience.
