The Senior Payments Consultant will oversee PS-PayHub's roadmap alignment, manage business analysis and requirements definition, and provide guidance throughout project execution. The consultant will be responsible for gathering requirements, participating in software design, and ensuring solution readiness.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and maintain PS-PayHub roadmap updated according to market needs and main payments industry players trend for future services.
  2. Manage business analysis and requirements definition and detailing role with customers as part of the project execution lifecycle in alignment with the project managers and product owners.
  3. Attend team meetings including daily standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  4. Elicit and gather requirements from multiple sources, such as customer/stakeholder interviews, meetings, document analysis, and research.
  5. Identify functional and non-functional requirements and document them clearly, concisely, and completely.
  6. Discuss and negotiate requirements' details with customers and support project managers and product owners in finalizing the detailed requirements document.
  7. Provide vision and direction to the team and stakeholders throughout the project.
  8. Analyze the impact of new requirements and changes, providing detailed requirements breakdowns for efforts estimation and delivery timelines.
  9. Participate in the software design process with the development team.
  10. Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.
  11. Author high-quality product documentation such as business requirements documents, software requirements specifications, interface specifications, and API contracts.
  12. Build and prioritize the product backlog by creating user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
  13. Conduct backlog grooming, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories.
  14. Verify and approve the functional and business readiness of solution releases based on customer-approved requirements and design baselines.
Requirements
  1. Extensive banking experience, especially in payments, including customer experience, operations, and end-to-end payment lifecycle.
  2. Proficiency in requirements gathering, organizing, and defining stories with product owners for development teams.
  3. Solid knowledge of all payment types including SWIFT, MI Payments, Cross-Border Corridors, and Remittance Management.
  4. Deep understanding of SWIFT, SWIFT GPI, SWIFT-Go, SWIFT Pre-validation, SWIFT CBPR+, SWIFT APIs, and future SWIFT roadmap.
  5. Knowledge of MI payments in GCC, MENA, and other regions is a plus.
  6. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  7. Strong teamwork skills and ability to effectively transfer requirements to product owners and developers.
  8. Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  9. Exceptional documentation skills for design, stories, and illustrating business requirements between business and technical teams.
  10. Experience with implementing multiple payments projects with banks, FIs, and PSPs in the MENA region (GCC and Tier 1 banks preferred).
  11. Supervision of requirements testing and acceptance before sharing deliverables with the business team.
  12. Background in software development is preferred.
