Head of IT Infrastructure

As the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining an optimal level of infrastructure performance and operation, managing infrastructure capacity, availability, and business continuity (including archiving, backup, and recovery). You will consider the most recent technology trends to ensure Nawras maintains the highest standards in infrastructure and its related operations, monitoring all related systems as well as all related servers.

You will manage the operation of Nawras' IT infrastructure, including operations and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, establishing procedures for daily operations, inventory management of hardware and software, and monitoring and reporting on infrastructure operations and incidents.

Responsibilities shall also include the following:

1. Preparing plans and budgets for infrastructure and its related systems and projects
2. Preparing and distributing department weekly and monthly reports
3. Planning company Infrastructure Capacity, Availability, and BCP
4. Motivating and supporting the Infrastructure team for day-to-day activities
5. Ensuring balanced role distribution for the entire operational task per resource
6. Negotiating supplier purchase, service, and maintenance agreements
7. Closely coordinating with business stakeholders
8. Closely coordinating with all vendors
9. Ensuring that all SLAs are met and all KPIs are delivered
10. Making sure that 24x7 support is available for issues related to the system as well as business-critical requests
11. Training new staff members
12. Recommending enhancements to the existing systems
13. Complying with and helping to enforce standard Extensity policies and procedures

To apply for this role, you should have 10+ years of working experience with a degree in IT or a related subject (MBA related to IT will be preferred), with at least 2-3 years in a managerial position in IT management in a mobile telephone company or a similar institution.

Demonstrated sensitivity for IT problem resolution in cooperation with the divisions of the company
Excellent written and spoken English
Written and spoken Arabic.
