As the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for planning and designing the IT infrastructure, maintaining optimal performance and operations, managing capacity, availability, and business continuity (including archiving, backup, and recovery). You will ensure Nawras adopts the latest technological trends to uphold the highest standards in infrastructure and related operations. Additionally, you will monitor all related systems and servers.

You will oversee the operation of Nawras' IT infrastructure, including the maintenance of all IT systems. Your duties include establishing procedures for daily operations, managing hardware and software inventories, and monitoring and reporting on infrastructure operations and incidents.

The responsibilities also include:

  1. Preparing plans and budgets for infrastructure, systems, and projects.
  2. Preparing and distributing weekly and monthly department reports.
  3. Planning infrastructure capacity, availability, and business continuity plans (BCP).
  4. Motivating and supporting the infrastructure team for daily activities.
  5. Ensuring balanced role distribution among team members.
  6. Negotiating with suppliers for purchase, service, and maintenance agreements.
  7. Coordinating closely with business stakeholders and vendors.
  8. Ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are met.
  9. Providing 24x7 support for system issues and critical business requests.
  10. Training new staff members.
  11. Recommending system enhancements.
  12. Enforcing standard policies and procedures.

Qualifications include:

  1. 10+ years of experience in IT, with a degree in IT or related field; an MBA related to IT is preferred.
  2. At least 2-3 years in a managerial role within a mobile telecom company or similar.
  3. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  4. Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
