Job Purpose:

The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of processing clients in order to achieve revenue, client satisfaction, and other targets. This role represents a key relationship role and serves as the primary liaison point between the customer and the organization for assistance, queries, client servicing, resolutions, and relationship management.

Main activities include:

  • Building substantial and lasting revenue by generating relationships with banks and card schemes.
  • Providing a high level of customer service customized to meet the needs of clients using specialist knowledge, skills, and expertise.
  • Identifying, initiating, establishing, and developing nurturing long-lasting relationships.
  • Configuring and addressing specific client needs.

Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, or relevant field.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in relationship management and client relations.
  • Experience in technical operational support in the retail payments processing industry preferred.
  • Experience in the markets assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

  • Understanding of the retail payments processing industry.
  • Technical background in payment processing operations coupled with commercial skills.
  • Understanding of card schemes regulations and products.
  • Understanding of IT development is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
