• Developing delegated elements of annual business plan outcomes to deadlines and within budget.
• Leading and managing design resources for projects.
• Managing daily operations for project design resources and managers.
• Leading and presenting management review data and KPIs to project and sub-function leadership.
• Supporting business development and work-winning activities.
• Leading the identification, development, and delivery of relevant training.
• Ensuring management systems are followed and project roles and responsibilities are adhered to.
• Acting as focal point for design-related matters on projects.
• Recommending and initiating changes to project delivery plans, developing new design management tools and processes.
• Supporting and influencing procurement routes, contractual, and legal aspects of projects.
• Contributing to the promotion of technical excellence and supporting dialogue/communication.
• Collaborating with project management office (PMO) teams to ensure coordinated deliverables.
• Actively seeking knowledge and experience through company resources.
• Utilizing the centre of excellence (CoE) knowledge base.
• Working collaboratively towards the net zero carbon transition and managing associated emissions and reductions.
• Applying good knowledge of design management systems, risk management, and mitigation.
• Having extensive experience delivering various building types across multiple sectors.
• Displaying negotiation skills to support client focus.
• Having good knowledge of construction and consultancy industries, legislation, standards, contracts, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintaining excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
• Maintaining impartiality and a pragmatic approach to evidence evaluation.
• Taking initiative and making appropriate decisions.
• Possessing good BIM literacy, management, and deliverables.
