Wood is actively hiring for HR Coordinator role to support future growth in our expanding business. The requirement is for Omani nationals as a part of the nationalisation initiative.
The role holder assists with planning and co-ordination in support of People & Organisation (P&O) plans and projects.
Work is assigned by the manager, with specific direction and periodic review of progress and results, although the role holder will be required to work autonomously with the assigned task and liaise with the business as required regarding details. Work will be delivered in accordance with functional policy and guidelines, preferred suppliers and budget restrictions.
This is a long term assignment in Muscat, Oman.
ResponsibilitiesReflecting the market focus for the office in both brownfield and green field opportunities, multi-skilled personnel are sought, in particular those with experience in:
- Onshore Oil and Gas
- Offshore Oil and Gas
- Meaningful and interesting projects delivered to leaders of industry across oil and gas and emerging energy sectors

HR Coordinator works within clear direction and existing guidelines, with the need to show initiative when dealing with and planning tasks.
- Assists the relevant P&O team with planning and delivery of specific work activities
- Supports P&O activities as required in support of the employee life-cycle
- Supports line managers with basic P&O activity and queries
- Coordinates events/P&O programmes as required, ensuring relevant stakeholders are kept informed of progress

QualificationsGood standard of education – HR or business related qualification preferred.
Job Specific ExperienceKnowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks.
Knowledge OfPrevious experience in an HR environment preferred.
