Overview

Sales and Marketing leadership responsibilities including forecasting, budget allocation, MIS setup, and achievement of sales, gross profit margin, and marketing objectives in alignment with AMICO strategy as discussed with the Business Development Manager and Country Sales Manager.

Sales Responsibilities
  • Set forecasts and allocate budgets – annual operating plan (AOP).
  • Ensure achievement of sales and budgets per customer target and product allocation.
  • Establish an MIS system with the Sales Team to monitor competition, sales achievement, and new technologies.
  • Ensure forecast achievement for each supplier.
  • Follow the strategic plans of AMICO as agreed with the Business Development Manager and Country Sales Manager.
  • Ensure achievement of the budgeted gross profit margin (GPM).
Marketing Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set the marketing budget in discussion with the BDM and CSM.
  • Ensure participation in congresses and conferences as agreed for the year.
  • Conduct marketing activities as planned and provide regular reports to the CSM and BDM.
  • Prepare product training schedules for customers in coordination with the Sales Team and suppliers.
Receivables Management
  • Follow up on outstanding payables and keep overdue collections within the specified limit (60 days).
  • Coordinate with the Accounts team and customers on payment issues.
Inventory Management
  • Prepare rolling forecast (Min/Max) for products in demand for the next two months.
  • Control product expiry by liquidating near-expiry stock.
  • Develop strategies for slow-moving stock to optimize stock management.
  • Optimize utilization of loan sets with customers and ensure loaned items are invoiced regularly.
Payables
  • Coordinate with the BDMs to negotiate payment terms with suppliers.
  • Support the accounts team in resolving payables issues.
Supervisory Roles
  • Development: Conduct joint field visits to identify training needs, resolve field issues, and coach team members; initiate team development activities in coordination with suppliers and the internal training team.
  • Controls: Monitor team reports, provide feedback to the team and management, and set performance parameters to achieve organizational goals; maintain records of pricing, sales, and activity reports; provide timely feedback to senior management.
  • Discipline: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics; communicate policy adherence to the team; control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Team Building and Motivation: Build a motivated team through objective-based performance; develop career paths and support personal goals.
