What we are looking for

To create great advertising campaigns with excellent creative judgment.

• The ability to lead a diverse creative team.
• To delegate responsibility to Associate Creative Director and Senior Creative teams, while maintaining ultimate responsibility for the work.
• Deploying the strengths, weaknesses, and contributions of each team member.
• Being open to new ideas, including those from subordinates.
• To run and manage challenging accounts.
• To set high standards with achievable goals.
• To handle business, client, and employee problems with good judgment.
• To exercise maturity and discretion with clients.
• To understand fiscal responsibility and treat client money responsibly.
• To deliver work that is strategic, executed with flair, and meets quality standards.
• To ensure proper sourcing of the creative department.
• To keep the Chief Creative Officer informed about issues and campaigns.
• To deliver work on time, within budget, and to required standards.
• To understand and communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
• To build good relationships with Account Management, Planning, and Traffic.
• To articulate creative ideas confidently to team and clients.
• To understand and appreciate brand value and approach activities within 360 Degree Brand Stewardship.
• To generate fresh, original ideas and push creative boundaries.
• To develop a basic knowledge of creative formats and align copy with art direction.

The team

The Creative Director will be part of a diverse team led by the Chief Creative Officer, with quality control and deputizing responsibilities.

Knowledge Areas

• Provide clear direction supporting business objectives.
• Give effective feedback and coach team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage poor performers.
• Recognize and value great work.
• Help employees balance work and personal life.
• Organize resources and information effectively.
• Manage multiple projects and understand strategic thinking behind briefs.
• Confidently present and sell creative concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Build strong relationships with departments and display meticulous art direction.

Talent Management & Internal Relationships

• Build relationships with relevant departments and discuss client requirements.
• Portray an innovative image for the Creative Department.

Commercial Management

• Contribute to financial management, profitability, and revenue maximization.
• Monitor billing procedures and alert management to issues.

Creative Management

• Devise imaginative advertisements based on client briefs.
• Push creative boundaries and communicate ideas effectively.
• Translate strategic concepts into creative executions, ensuring quality and timeliness.
