Integrated Coaching Lead (Four Years Contract)

Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The company delivers the majority of the country's crude oil production and natural gas supply.

Purpose of the Job
  • Standardize coaching across all disciplines
  • Develop and implement innovative development methods with cost competitiveness
  • Create training courses aligned with the company's transformation pillars
  • Assess learning needs across PE disciplines and update programs accordingly
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline with extensive exposure across all PE disciplines
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including people development and coaching
  • Strategic thinker with experience in developing people development strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in innovative learning and coaching methods
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders, customers, and contractors
  • Proven coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Commercial mindset
Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the "Integrated Coaching Center"
  • Standardize coaching practices across disciplines
  • Oversee PE development programs and initiatives
  • Manage and evaluate development programs for quality assurance
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance PE capabilities
  • Manage training budgets and resources
  • Establish partnerships with industry stakeholders for research and training
  • Support professional growth of PE staff through training and workshops
  • Align PE development center's vision with PDO business objectives
  • Build relationships with industry training professionals and stakeholders
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for program quality and center performance
