You'll be responsible for:

  1. Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.
  2. Leading the PMO team, including the programme and Mace employees.
  3. Managing disciplines within the PMO such as: Assurances (H&S, quality, sustainability, Worker Welfare), Commercial (including procurement), Controls, Design and Delivery (owning standards, processes, data validation), Knowledge transfers, Training, Stakeholder and Communications.
  4. Overseeing performance and continuous improvement of discipline leads and their teams.
  5. Training the wider team in processes and procedures as required.
  6. Managing the Mace prime contract.
  7. This is a client-facing role, requiring presentation skills at ministerial level.
  8. Accountability for PMO and project controls performance across assigned hubs.
  9. Ensuring all PMO and risk management services align with best practices and ISO standards within the control centre.
  10. Providing expert advice and support to projects within the hub and other hubs as needed.
  11. Partnering with clients to exceed expectations and build strong relationships.
  12. Leading delivery of all technical PMO and project controls services, including digital services.
  13. Collaborating towards net zero carbon goals and managing associated emissions during project delivery.
