The Group ICV Manager will be responsible for exploring business opportunities with ASYAD to develop and strengthen the local markets of Oman, as well as developing and implementing ASYAD's ICV strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Driving strategic business initiatives to maximize group ICV contribution, including overall performance and reporting.
  2. Developing a sustainable local supply market through demand consolidation and executing ICV processes with analysis and recommendations for contracts.
  3. Engaging with external stakeholders such as OIA, MOCI, and industry suppliers, representing ASYAD ICV at relevant events, and contributing to long-term strategy development.
  4. Ensuring compliance with corporate mission, vision, values, policies, international standards, and legal requirements, supported by IT platforms, HSE standards, and national objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
  1. Development and implementation of ICV strategies across the group.
  2. Ensuring the ICV framework is effectively rolled out and executed.
  3. Stakeholder engagement planning and management.
  4. Managing supplier engagements regarding ICV.
  5. Overseeing long-term ICV strategies with business units, reviewing tenders, and identifying opportunities.
  6. Reviewing project tenders for ICV opportunities and evaluating bidder submissions.
  7. Leading Omanization initiatives and developing Oman workforce.
  8. Developing policies, procedures, and systems to maximize local resource utilization.
  9. Collaborating with external stakeholders to identify demand aggregation opportunities.
  10. Leading industry engagement sessions and SME development programs.
  11. Managing ICV reporting, training, and monitoring systems.
  12. Identifying local market opportunities through data analysis.
  13. Coaching vendors and liaising with internal teams to increase ICV.
  14. Developing and monitoring ICV development plans and integrating ICV into contract tenders.
  15. Supporting Omanization targets and maintaining communication with relevant government bodies.
  16. Leading the divisional strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Business Administration with specialization in Supply Chain Management or relevant field.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of relevant supply chain management experience, including 6 years in ICV or related fields, with knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
Skills:
  • Understanding of C&P functions and local content practices.
  • Ability to evaluate complex proposals and effective communication skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
