General Purpose: Ensures that mechanical repairs are performed on a variety of equipment that is used to maintain the Golf course in a timely and precise manner. Ensures that all equipment is always kept in efficient and safe condition.

Essential Duties:

  1. Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all equipment, purchases repair parts and replacement supplies.
  2. Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in many types of golf course maintenance equipment.
  3. Performs mower grinding/sharpening.
  4. Welding experience would be beneficial.
  5. Manages expenses in the maintenance of the equipment fleet relating to parts purchases, inventory levels, service work, fuel inventories and related items.
  6. Ensures accurate records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, parts ordered are kept.
  7. Diagnoses mechanical troubles and schedules appropriate preventative maintenance work.
  8. Organizes and maintains a clean and safe maintenance workshop area.
  9. Assists in the management and development of department members that may include but is not limited to: Assistant Mechanics.
  10. Regular and reliable attendance.
  11. Performs other duties as required.

Experience:

  1. 2+ years of relative industry experience as a Mechanic or Senior Mechanic.
  2. Ability to read and speak English is required.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Licenses:

  1. Valid Driver's License.
