Telecommunications Engineer Position Overview

This role requires a skilled Telecommunications Engineer to assist senior engineers with network operations and projects, as well as maintain communication systems infrastructure in the field. Key responsibilities include administering and supporting network backbone and edge switches, coordinating with ISP contacts, and managing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers with network operations and projects.

  • Manage administrative tasks such as purchase orders, inventory control, and equipment disposal.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic techniques.
  • Ensure proper logging and tracking of user problems using IT ticketing systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics/Communications Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in telecommunications and networking field.
  • Cisco certification or equivalent.
