Lead Regional Manager

Job Overview

The position of Lead Regional Manager is a pivotal role that requires an individual with extensive experience in corporate leadership and business strategy implementation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Team Management: Building, enabling, and retaining a high-performing team by employing skilled resources in the right roles and positions, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Market Expansion: Establishing and expanding the company's presence in Oman, aligning with the company's standards and guidelines.
  • Financial Performance: Ensuring the sound financial performance of the operation, including ownership and delivery of the profit and loss budget.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhering to the company's Compliance and Governance policies, as well as those of vendors.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Developing and maintaining solid working relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • A dedicated and driven individual with a proven track record in corporate/business leadership and achievement in the relevant market/geography.
  • Over 10 years' experience in the ICT industry, with at least 5 years covering the Oman market/ecosystem.
  • Over 5 years' experience in managerial and leadership positions.
  • Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or other post-secondary degrees are desirable.
  • Ability to own, understand, and manage complete P&L statements.
  • In-depth understanding of Accounting and Finance, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and HR.
  • Broad understanding of Technology products and solutions, and Technology solutions delivery.
  • Experience in managing large-scale diversified channel ecosystems, exceeding 100 customers.
  • Capacity to operate in a fast-paced, complex, and challenging business environment.
  • Experience and track record in managing multi-cultural teams and individuals.
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of Compliance and Corporate governance.
  • Strong ability to build, present, and execute strategic business planning with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and people management skills.
  • Capacity to successfully identify and resolve challenges and problems.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.
