Job Description

A Reservations Agent is responsible for managing room reservations at the hotel and providing exceptional customer service to guests.

  • The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for room inquiries, responding promptly and efficiently to ensure all reservations are completed accurately.
  • They will be required to convert inquiries into booked business, identify sales leads, and respond positively to sales inquiries to develop future sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and administration skills, with a passion for delivering great customer service. A highly professional telephone manner and intermediate computer proficiency are also essential.

In addition to their technical skills, the Reservations Agent will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with guests and colleagues.

Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Administration and Organizational Skills: Strong administrative and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate computer proficiency and experience with hotel management systems.
