About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in financial management, particularly from the construction industry in Oman.

Prior experience and knowledge of market conditions in India are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Invoice Approval: Verify accurate and timely approval of invoices for inclusion in the general ledger.
  2. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and balance cash inflows and outflows to meet business obligations and optimize investments.
  3. Audit Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and tax requirements.
  4. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain policies and internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
  5. Budgeting: Assist or create budget incorporating historical data to inform financial decisions.
  6. Debt Management: Manage loan agreements, collect outstanding debts, and maintain relationships with customers.
  7. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial plans, minimizing risk and identifying opportunities for growth.
  8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to local laws, tax regulations, and industry standards.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Provide financial insights and reports to inform business decisions.
  10. Cost Savings: Identify areas for cost reduction and implement efficiency measures.
  11. Leadership: Mentor and manage accounting and finance staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
  12. Payroll Management: Process payroll, handle labor tax compliance, and ensure accurate payment processing.
  13. External Reporting: Prepare company tax and financial statements, including public filings as required.
  14. Banking and Finance: Establish and manage banking relationships, setting up accounts and maintaining effective communication.
  15. Stakeholder Management: Advise managers on operational activities based on a deep understanding of the underlying business.
