Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead our daily operations in Oman, executing the company's strategy and achieving its objectives. This involves overseeing the establishment and expansion of our footprint/operations in Oman, aligned with our objectives, standards, and guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and expand our operations in Oman, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.
- Develop, enable, and retain a high-performing team by employing the right resources in the appropriate roles and positions.
- Oversee the implementation and achievement of corporate business objectives and strategies.
- Assume complete ownership and delivery of the company's budget.
- Ensure sound financial performance of the company.
- Build and maintain solid working relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and vendors.
- Act as the main ambassador of the company, safeguarding and promoting its reputation in the market.
- Be responsible for the overall operational functioning of the company.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Compliance and Governance policies, as well as those of vendors.
- Continuously implement measures to ensure the company maintains a leading market share position.
- Drive high performance through leadership and continuous team motivation.
- Oversee the deployment and execution of company policies locally, coordinating with different divisions, and liaising with relevant Head Office Teams when applicable.
- Lead and orchestrate activities with internal (sales, product, and marketing teams) and external (partners and vendors) stakeholders to design and implement effective marketing and sales strategies and plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Be responsible for account receivables, maintaining a healthy Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Working Capital (WoS).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- More than 10 years' experience in the ICT industry, with at least 5 years covering the Oman market/ecosystem.
- Over 5 years' experience in managerial and leadership positions.
- Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or other post-secondary degrees are considered an advantage.
- Ability to own, understand, and manage a complete P&L statement.
- In-depth understanding of Accounting and Finance, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and Human Resources.
- Broad understanding of Technology Products and Solutions, and Technology solutions delivery.
- Experience in managing large-scale, diversified channel ecosystems.
- Capacity to operate in a fast-paced, complex, and challenging business environment.
- Experience and track record in managing multicultural teams and individuals.
- Robust knowledge and understanding of Compliance and Corporate governance.
- Strong ability to build, present, and execute on strategic business planning, both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Capacity to successfully identify and resolve challenges and problems.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is considered an advantage.
