
Exhibition Business Leader

As a leader in the industry, we are seeking a highly skilled General Manager – Exhibitions to drive our exhibition business forward. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to develop and implement effective sales strategies, and have a proven track record of successfully managing teams and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Sales: Identify new opportunities for growth, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and maintain a database of contacts across all industry sectors.
- Customer Focus: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly, recognize customers' need for ROI, and ensure they receive it.
- Strategy: Generate and act upon new ideas, segment the market effectively, and maintain an existing list of contacts across all industry sectors.
- Business Development: Develop exhibition brands locally, regionally, and internationally, maximize business development opportunities for each exhibition.
- People Management: Demonstrate effective leadership, recruit, motivate, and empower teams, communicate effectively with the team, and manage complex reporting lines.
- Organising: Collaborate with Department Directors, understand supplier relationships, oversee floor planning, and control venue logistics.
- Financial: Coordinate overall financial planning and manage budgets.
- Marketing: Manage marketing strategies, build and maintain a positive brand image, and establish relationships with industry trade publications.
- Team Focus: Promote inter-team collaboration for business projects, coach team members effectively.
