About this Role

We are looking for an experienced Culinary Manager to join our team at Jumeirah Muscat Bay Resort.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, HACCP protocols, and company policies.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Plan and coordinate kitchen activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  2. Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and maintain accurate records of menu costs.
  3. Collaborate with executive chefs, sous chefs, and other team members to develop menu planning, specials, and promotions.
  4. Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.

Qualifications

  1. Degree in Culinary Arts or related field required.
  2. Proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant.

Language Skills:

  1. Fluent Italian language skills essential.

  4. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Experience

  1. Minimum 2 years as Culinary Manager or equivalent in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant.
  2. Minimum 6 years in the culinary industry, including senior management experience.
