Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Finance Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial planning, management, and project financing. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial health and supporting the leadership team with strategic insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Raising finance for projects: Identifying and securing funding sources (equity, debt, grants) and building financial models;
  2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing costs and revenues, and providing performance reports;
  3. Accounting & Cash Flow Management: Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger, managing cash flow to ensure liquidity, and supervising the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations;
  4. Cost Control & Efficiency: Tracking and controlling daily expenses, implementing cost-reduction strategies across operations, and developing and enforcing internal financial controls;
  5. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements, managing risks including currency, credit, and project execution, and liaising with auditors and regulators;
  6. Strategic Support: Supporting the leadership team in fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting, and providing financial insights for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and international expansion.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (master's or CPA/ACCA preferred);
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in renewable energy, project finance, or infrastructure;
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements;
  • Proven track record in raising project finance and managing investor relations;
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, and accounting software;
