Job Title: Operational Specialist

  • The operational specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of company meetings and industry events. This involves setting travel policy, supporting travel decisions, responding to travel emergencies, and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with colleagues to address travel queries and issues
  2. Work with the wider business services team on company and industry event plans
  3. Hold travel vendors accountable for providing excellent service
  4. Check invoices to ensure accurate charges and timely payments, credits and refunds for travel
  5. Monitor trends, spend, emissions and compliance with company policy
  6. Track unused tickets, credits and airline points usage

  6. Ability to travel up to four times a year for company events of up to two weeks duration
