Job Description

The role involves providing detailed capital cost estimates for renewable energy projects, including engineering, procurement, and construction costs. This requires collaboration with various teams to refine estimates and validate assumptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive cost baselines and budgets based on feasibility studies, market benchmarks, supplier quotations, and engineering inputs.
  • Monitor project expenditures and commitments against approved budgets using cost control software or spreadsheets.
  • Track and analyze cost variances, identify risks or trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct monthly cost forecasting and cash flow projections in coordination with finance and project management.
  • Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices and change orders to ensure cost compliance.
