Job Title: Facilities Management Operations Lead

Job Description

The Facilities Management Operations Lead will be responsible for delivering exceptional facilities management services to our clients. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, HVAC, elevators, fire protection, and other critical engineering services.

  2. Ensure preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance schedules are implemented and documented.

  3. Support commissioning, testing, and handover processes of new systems and assets.

  4. Monitor system performance and initiate upgrades or optimization plans as needed.

  5. Oversee delivery of housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, waste management, and security services across the complex.

  6. Develop and enforce SOPs for all service areas in compliance with Omani laws, safety codes, and international FM standards.

  7. Liaise with service providers to ensure training, presentation, and conduct of soft service staff align with project standards.

  8. Supervise and coordinate in-house and outsourced teams, including technical staff, service providers, and contractors.

  9. Maintain records of asset performance, maintenance logs, incidents, and service reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (technical discipline preferred).

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience managing hard/soft FM services in large-scale or complex properties.

  • Strong knowledge of technical systems (MEP/HVAC), soft services operations, and relevant regulatory standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and contractor management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in a relevant field, coupled with extensive experience in managing facilities management services. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
