The ESP Contract Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of contracts and operational activities. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with commercial and category conditions.
- Contract Management: The primary responsibility includes managing overall contract implementation, interfacing with company personnel, and ensuring compliance with commercial and category conditions.
- Contract Holder Interface: Interfacing with the contract holder on contractual issues, as specified in commercial and category conditions section.
- ESP Work Completion: Ensuring the successful completion of ESP work.
- Contractor Personnel Knowledge: Ensuring that all contractor personnel have full knowledge of their responsibilities.
- HSE Meetings: Participating in monthly HSE meetings and reviewing incurred incidents to apply learning.
- Periodical Reviews: Leading periodical reviews as instructed by the contract holder.
- Audits: Leading any audits.
- Dispute Resolution: Managing disputes, claims, and contract closeout.
- KPI Updates: Updating and reporting KPIs as specified in procedures for contractors section.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Managing day-to-day operations and interfacing with relevant company personnel on ESP work performance.
- Coordination: Coordinating interfaces with contractor's operations engineers, company's site representatives, and teams to ensure safe and smooth ESP work performance.
- Operations Optimization: Optimizing operations.
- Supervision: Supervising and coordinating all ESP work at well sites and facilities.
- Discussion: Discussing all HSE, operational, and quality issues with company's relevant teams.
- Schedule Updates: Following schedule updates, providing failure statistics and analyses, and ensuring resource availability.
- Tech Support: Providing solutions to technical challenges related to ESP systems and equipment.
- Incident Investigation: Investigating HSE and operational incidents and presenting results to the contract holder.
- Maintenance Planning: Providing input to maintenance strategies and future planning.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering science or equivalent, preferably in petroleum, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum ten years of experience managing operational and technical aspects of ESP or artificial lift contracts, with at least three years in a similar role.
- Technical Offer Preparation: Experience in preparing technical offers, client negotiations, and closing orders.
- Availability: Based in the capital area, reachable by the company at all times, able to attend meetings and discussions as instructed.
- To effectively manage and coordinate the execution of ESP contracts.
- To oversee the entire process from pre-contract phase to post-contract completion.
- To interact with multiple stakeholders including internal teams and external partners.
- To handle technical issues arising from ESP system failures.
- To identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize ESP operations.
- To conduct regular meetings with the contract holder to discuss progress and address concerns.
- To maintain accurate records and provide timely reports on key performance indicators.
