A warm and welcoming host is the first point of contact for guests entering our Arabic restaurant or food outlet.

This role ensures a respectful greeting and seating experience, reflecting Arabic hospitality traditions. The Host will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and assist with guest inquiries in Arabic and other languages as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and offering assistance in seating them promptly.
  • Managing reservations, guest waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently.
  • Maintaining clear communication with restaurant staff to coordinate smooth seating and service flow.
  • Providing guests with menus, explaining daily specials or promotions, and answering basic questions about the menu in Arabic.
  • Handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assisting in coordinating guest arrivals for special events, private dining, or large groups.
  • Maintaining accurate records of reservations and guest preferences.
  • Collaborating with the service and kitchen teams to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Upholding grooming, uniform, and appearance standards in line with hotel policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluent Arabic language skills and a good command of English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Previous experience as a hostess, front desk staff, or in guest services, preferably in a hospitality or food & beverage setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
