Job Overview

Digital Mall Jobs وظائف المول الرقمي is seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an expert in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB who can create well-designed, efficient, and testable code that meets specifications. This includes writing server-side logic, APIs, and routes to handle data processing, authentication, and business logic.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating MongoDB with Node.js and Express.js applications, including creating database schemas, performing CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete), and optimizing database queries for efficient data retrieval.
  • As a Backend Developer, you will build RESTful APIs to expose functionality and data to clients, defining API endpoints, handling HTTP requests and responses, and implementing data validation and error handling.
  • You will implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms in your application, using techniques such as JWT (JSON Web Tokens) or session-based authentication, managing user roles and permissions, and securing API endpoints.
  • We encourage the development of custom middleware functions to handle common tasks such as request validation, error handling, logging, and authentication verification. Middleware functions help modularize and enhance the functionality of your Express.js application.
  • You will write and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of your code, using testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest to automate testing processes and identify and fix any issues or bugs.
  • To optimize performance and scalability, you will analyze and optimize database queries, implement caching mechanisms, and leverage performance profiling tools to identify and address bottlenecks.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
  • Strong knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication skills.
