**Job Overview**

The role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical, static equipment, lifting equipment, and rotating equipment activities to ensure optimal plant performance, safety, and reliability.

This encompasses the coordination and supervision of various tasks, including routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and repairs to prevent downtime and optimize overall plant efficiency.

The job holder will report directly to the Maintenance and Inspection Manager and be part of the Maintenance & Inspection team.

Key skills required for this position include strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and leadership skills.

A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, knowledge of industry standards and best practices, and ability to analyze complex problems and develop solutions are also essential.

In addition, the job requires a high level of technical competence, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with significant experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Furthermore, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities is crucial.
