About the Position

This key role is responsible for providing data-driven insights to support strategic planning and institutional effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction & Management: Gather, organize, and maintain data from various sources to support informed decision-making.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Develop metrics and interactive dashboards to monitor progress and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Comparative Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct research to compare our institution's performance with peer institutions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Present insightful reports and data visualizations to internal stakeholders and accrediting bodies.
  • Survey Design & Implementation: Create, administer, and analyze surveys to assess stakeholder satisfaction, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Accreditation Support: Contribute data and analysis to ensure compliance with external standards.
  • Collaboration & Partnership: Work closely with academic and administrative units to meet their data needs and promote data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Institutional Research, or a related field (required)
    • Master's degree in Educational Research, Data Science, or Business Analytics (preferred)
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years of relevant experience in institutional research or data analysis, ideally within higher education
    • Experience supporting strategic planning or quality assurance with data insights
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, or Python)
    • Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
    • Strong command of Excel, SQL databases, and survey tools like Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey
  • Attributes:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
    • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively
    • Collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills
