**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sales Director to join our team at InterContinental Muscat. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts to generate revenue and maximize market share.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Validating account potential and creating plans in accordance with IHG hotel standards
  • Developing the assigned account portfolio to meet set goals and increase profitability
  • Gathering information on clients and contacts to generate incremental business
  • Maintaining effective control of sales expenses
  • Monitoring competitors' activities and sharing relevant information with stakeholders

**Requirements:**

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality Management desired, with 2-4 years of relevant sales experience in hospitality or a related industry
  • Expected to possess:
    • In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques
    • Effective communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong knowledge of hotel products, rates, and marketing programs
    • Excellent PC skills, including MS Office
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders
    • Knowledge and experience of Sales Systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera) advantageous
