Arabic Culinary Expert

Job Overview

We are excited to introduce an exceptional opportunity to lead our Arabic kitchen section, delivering high-quality dishes that showcase traditional and contemporary flavors.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the preparation and presentation of Arabic cuisine, adhering to established standards and best practices.
  2. Develop and prepare hot and cold mezze, grills, stews, rice dishes, and sweets, ensuring consistency and excellence in every detail.
  3. Supervise and train chefs and kitchen staff within the Arabic section, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  4. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the Arabic kitchen section, adhering to HACCP protocols.
  5. Collaborate with other culinary departments to ensure seamless kitchen operations during busy service periods, events, or banquets.
  6. Monitor food costs and minimize waste while maintaining exceptional food quality.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and management, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focusing on Arabic cuisine.
  • Profound knowledge of traditional Arabic cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional flavors (Levantine, Gulf, North African, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Good understanding of food costing, kitchen management, and menu engineering.
  • Proficient in kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale production during peak periods.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
