Role Overview

We're looking for a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team.

  • Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets quality standards.
  • Assist senior chefs with menu preparation and daily operations.
  • Tackle and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Lead kitchen staff, create schedules, and evaluate performance.
  • Direct kitchen personnel and convey instructions clearly.
  • Sources and manages inventory supplies.
  • Fulfills sanitation regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Maintains positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Crafts exceptional dishes, combining aesthetics and flavor.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Drive efficiency and meet quality standards in the kitchen.
  2. Support senior chefs with menu planning and daily tasks.
  3. Resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  4. Lead kitchen staff, schedule work, and assess performance.
  5. Communicate tasks clearly to kitchen personnel.
  6. Manage inventory supplies.
  7. Ensure compliance with health codes and safety standards.
  8. Promote positive relationships within the team.
  9. Create high-quality dishes that balance taste and presentation.
Ideal CandidateQualifications:
  • Prior experience as Culinary Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Three to six years of experience in hospitality, catering, or high-volume food production environments.
  • Currently based in Oman.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Ability to adapt to rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night) as required.
Knowledge and Competency:
  • Leadership and mentorship of junior kitchen staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Kitchen section ownership with consistent output and quality control.
  • Effective verbal communication and instruction delivery.
  • Familiarity with current culinary trends and kitchen best practices.
