Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Central Bank of Oman seeks a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making.

The role is pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable insights for users across the institution, supporting compliance monitoring, risk assessment, supervisory activities, and policy development.

  • Design and build interactive dashboards and standardized reports using BI tools to support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with large and complex datasets to derive trends, anomalies, and actionable intelligence relevant to regulatory functions.
  • Engage with departments to gather reporting requirements and translate them into functional BI solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used for reporting by applying data validation and cleansing techniques.
  • Automate recurring reports and enhance existing dashboards to improve performance and usability.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for BI tools and reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • Certification in major BI tool (e.g., Power BI and/or Tableau).
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing dashboards and reports using modern BI tools.
  • Proven experience in data preparation, transformation, and visualization for decision support.
