Executive Finance Role

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Finance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies that support the hotel's objectives.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the finance team.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive cost control initiatives to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive financial experience in hospitality, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards in Oman or the GCC region
  • Proficiency in financial systems and hotel ERP software
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
