Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity expert to lead our security operation center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and evolving our SOC, analyzing and improving our security architecture, evaluating and implementing new security tools and practices, and identifying, containing, and guiding the remediation of security threats and cyber attacks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine Canonical's Security Operation Center
  • Analyze and enhance Canonical's security infrastructure
  • Evaluate, select, and implement novel security tools and methodologies
  • Identify, contain, and guide the remediation of security threats and cyber attacks
Key Qualifications:
  • An outstanding academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a compelling narrative about alternative educational path
  • Previous experience working or leading a Security Operation Center
  • Dedication to staying at the forefront of technology security
  • Expertise in threat modeling and risk management frameworks
