Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant to join our team. As a consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure the accuracy and usability of data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot Power BI issues and provide solutions to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for Power BI solutions.
  • Implement DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations and advanced Power Query features.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in data analysis or related field is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI platform development.
  • Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
