HSE Manager: Spearheading Safety and Efficiency in Logistics Operations

We are seeking a seasoned HSE Manager to drive our Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives. This critical role requires strong leadership and expertise in ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while fostering a culture of safety awareness.

This position is pivotal in promoting safe and efficient operations in road freight and related activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in HSE management, with at least 7 years of relevant experience and a degree in a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in HSE management software are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and management systems to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safety-conscious culture.

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Design and deliver engaging HSE training programs for employees at all levels, emphasizing road safety and transport operations.

  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.

  • Ensure seamless coordination with various departments to integrate HSE best practices into operational processes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, including policies, risk assessments, and incident records.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant HSE experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience specifically in road safety and land transport.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering).
