Job Description

The role of Senior Auto Surveyor requires the examination of damaged vehicles, investigation of losses, and management of policyholders and insured drivers. The position involves supervising existing motor claims surveyors to ensure service delivery and ensuring that motor repair estimations are received from agencies and garages in accordance with the claims survey report.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent customer service and ensure delivery of existing service level agreements and loss assessment of auto claims.
  2. Deliver best-in-class assistance to insureds throughout the claims process while directing cases to satisfactory resolutions.
  3. Supervise motor claims surveyors to ensure service delivery.
  4. Ensure motor repair estimation is received from agencies and garages in accordance with the claims survey report.
  5. Finalize motor surveyor reports and repair authorizations within SLA timelines.
  6. Promptly and equitably settle claims.
  7. Post accurate and timely reserves for each claim handled.
  8. Vigorously pursue necessary claim documents.
  9. Maintain close coordination with agencies, garages, and brokers.
  10. Negotiate discounts with agencies and garages to reduce average costs per claim.
  11. Report market feedback to the claims manager.
  12. Provide market value of damaged salvage vehicles.
