Food and Beverage Supervisor Role Overview

  • This is a management role that oversees the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets.
Key Responsibilities

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with kitchen, stewarding, and restaurant cashiers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conducting regular training sessions with the team on guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, upselling, and other relevant topics.
  • Reporting equipment failures or problems to the maintenance department.
  • Passing maintenance requests to the maintenance department.
  • Participating in training and development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  • Ensuring proper appearance and grooming of staff, including uniforms.
  • Handling guest arrivals and seating through the hostess, or taking over if unavailable.
  • Maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with patrons to ensure their well-being.
  • Familiarizing with all menus, promotions, and relevant outlet information (product knowledge).
  • Contributing to maintaining the outlet's database of regular guests.
  • Reporting cleanliness and maintenance issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
  • Resolving guest complaints directly or with supervisor assistance.
  • Preparing mise en place for the entire day's service.
  • Preparing store requisitions for signatures and ensuring accurate delivery of goods.
  • Attending departmental meetings and conducting briefings, promoting open communication within the team.
  • Familiar with the outlet's menu and promotional activities.
  • Familiar with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage management.
  • Adhering to hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Familiar with all relevant hotel documentation and operational standards.
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as required.
