Role Overview

The People & Culture Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the culture of Tivoli Muscat Hotel, a new luxury hotel in the heart of Muscat, Oman. This key role will involve leading the recruitment, training, and employee engagement efforts during the pre-opening phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive People & Culture strategy that aligns with Tivoli's vision and goals.
    • Lead the recruitment process to attract top talent for all hotel departments.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention:
    • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting Tivoli's core values and engaging in proactive communication with employees.
    • Develop and implement employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and milestones.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared for the opening and are aligned with Tivoli's service standards.
    • Facilitate induction sessions for all new employees, fostering a strong understanding of the hotel's mission, vision, and values.
  • Culture Development:
    • Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with Tivoli's vision of luxury service and excellence.
    • Act as a culture ambassador, guiding managers on maintaining employee morale, maintaining high standards, and nurturing the team's passion for hospitality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a People & Culture or HR management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in pre-opening HR projects, including recruitment, training, and team-building.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and hospitality operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
