The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dishwashing area. This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using an industrial dishwasher.

  • Ensure all items are properly cleaned and sanitized.

  • Organize and stack clean dishes in appropriate storage areas.

  • Empty and clean trash bins.

  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

  • Assist with basic food preparation as needed.

  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or hotel setting is a plus but not required.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential.

  • Physical fitness is necessary, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and bend or stoop as needed.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are required.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
