Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute effectively to Customer Problem Resolution, Innovation, and Engineering.
  2. Mentor and develop others.
  3. Lead the creation and sharing of intellectual property (content, training) including digital intellectual property (e.g. scripts, software assets).
  4. Interact effectively with Engineering to solve complex problems, identify serviceability issues, and drive resolution with Engineering and other organizations.
  5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex customer problems in support of escalations.
  6. Oversight and stewardship of our company culture.
  7. Continuously learning and strengthening technical skills for relevant technical domains and adjacent technologies.
  8. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to plan, design, install, configure, integrate, and/or optimize Cisco's suite of products and services.
  9. Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.

Scope and Complexity:

This role involves interacting internally and externally with customers, senior leadership, other Engineers, Partners, field personnel, CAP Managers, and internal engineering departments and product organizations.

This is a technical expert position requiring deep knowledge across multiple technologies, applying expected product behavior across industry practices.

Expertise Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent.
  • 8+ years related experience.
  • CCIE (DC or Enterprise) certification.
  • Optional: Experience with Cisco Firepower.
