Job Overview

A Mechanical Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless plant operations and equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to execute maintenance plans for static and rotary equipment as required.
  • Supervise site operations during plant shutdowns and start-ups to guarantee proper equipment performance.
  • Lead workforce coordination and resource management to optimize maintenance execution.
  • Cultivate continuous improvement by fostering collaboration with other departments.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Address mechanical issues arising from removal, reinstallation of mechanical parts, refractory replacement, refractory repair, piping, and replacement.
  • Manage maintenance backlog, defect elimination, and reliability enhancement initiatives.
  • Ensure integration of mechanical components with electrical and civil teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience (5-8 years) in Fertilizer, Chemicals, Oil & Gas with expertise in Piping Maintenance/repair/replacement.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
