Infrastructure Leader Opportunity

  • Take charge of a distributed team of engineers, fostering collaboration and driving results in your preferred time zone.
  • Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and career planning to elevate team performance.
  • Set expectations with engineering teams, senior management, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Promote modern software development practices and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Engage with broader teams, the open source community, and partners to drive innovation and growth.
  • Represent the organization at global events, sharing expertise and best practices (4-6 weeks/year).

Requirements:

  • Academic excellence from both high school and university.
  • Technical undergraduate degree.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable exchanging feedback and ideas.
  • A proven track record of exceeding expectations and delivering outstanding results.
  • Leadership experience, commitment to skills development, and mentorship.
  • Passion for technology demonstrated by personal projects and initiatives.
  • Confidence and strong work ethic to thrive in a motivated environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with presentation skills.
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
  • Interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Diversity awareness, politeness, and effectiveness in a multicultural organization.
  • Self-motivation and result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments.
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long.
  • Understanding of modern Linux cloud computing technologies.
  • Programming experience in Python and Go.
  • Experience developing and growing people with a strong track record.
